In this talk, I will talk about epidemic model and causality detecting of gene regulations. The infection of HBV is major health problem in the world, there are more 2 billion of world people infected it according to WHO. How to rebuilt more reasonable HBV model and do its dynamical behavior analysis to find the mechanism of the virus is an very important task. Therefore, our first aim is to rebuilt mathematical model of HBV. After that, by using the dynamical system theory, we analyze its dynamical behavior to reveal the mechanism. In order to do this, we need to detect causal gene regulations to find which genes make “major contribution” to it. So in the second part, we will talk about causal gene regulations. According Taken’s embedding theory, we propose a new method called topologically equivalent position (TEP) method to detect causality of short time data. We use theoretical models and real gene expression data to show the effectiveness of our method. And finally, I will talk about some future works.
